There was a crash, the latest in a series, which caused Braniac 5 to grind his teeth.  ‘But it would make me feel so much better.’

He should have known it was a bad idea.  Anything that involved Bart Allen, the Human Hummingbird on Crack, was a bad idea.

But Jenni was refusing to have anything to do with him at the moment (how was he supposed to know that it would turn her hair pink?), and he really wanted to finish his own research into the Speed Force… and the only speedster he knew other than Jenni who had could really get at the Speed Force and was willing to work with him was Bart.

Bart, the bane of Braniac’s existence.

Bart, who had just destroyed who knew how many trillions of credits worth of experiments.

Bart, who had asked if Braniac had really created a sexbot that looked like Supergirl.

Bart Allen pulled the robotic double of himself upright and looked from its vacant expression to Braniac.  The look on the time traveling Titan’s face said it all.  And Braniac just knew he was never going to hear the end of this.
